Awards Recognition for MBA North Event
An event that connects MBA students from across the North of England has been shortlisted for a top education award.
MBA North, co-founded and organised by Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), is among the finalists for The Power of Partnerships Award at the .
MBA North is a collaboration between LUMS, Newcastle University Business School, Sheffield University Management School, Leeds University Business School, University of Liverpool Management School and Durham University Business School.
The now annual event gives MBA students from throughout the North of England opportunities to build meaningful connections across institutions, with employers, alumni and one another. It showcases the depth of talent studying and building careers in the region, and promotes senior career pathways in the north, allowing attendees to discover and better understand the breadth of opportunities available.
Noeleen Hammond Jones, Deputy Head of LUMS Careers for Work Related Learning, and founding partner of MBA North, said: “I’m incredibly proud to see MBA North shortlisted for the QS Power of Partnerships Award. As a founding partner, it has been hugely rewarding to see an idea built around collaboration grow into an initiative creating real opportunities for MBA students across the North.

The awards will be presented as part of the QS Reimagine Education Awards in London between December 6 and 8.
