You may also have a full-time career or responsibilities at home, which means studying full-time is not an option for you.
Yes, all your studies will be conducted online so your learning can be scheduled around full-time work and caring responsibilities.
All coursework, supervision, and research activity is conducted online, so relocation is not required. There is one in-person event — the three-day Autumn Academy — per year, but, while in-person attendance is encouraged, you can attend online if travel is not possible.

Our MSc in Health Economics and Policy is a two year, part-time course. You will study a range of taught modules before carrying out your final research project.
Our PhDs take between five and seven years, depending on your choice of research project and your own pace of data collection, analysis and writing.
No. Applicants with non-standard qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, where there is evidence of relevant professional experience and/or other learning that demonstrates the potential to succeed on the programme.
Yes, you can gain an alumni discount if you hold an undergraduate or master’s degree awarded by Lancaster University, achieved at any time, including one delivered through an associated institution. Alumni who completed an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification that included Lancaster University as a study abroad location are also be eligible for the award.
