Courses cover a diverse range of disciplines from accounting, business, engineering and politics, to counselling, the creative arts, English, history, sociology and more.
Students are able to study in seminar-sized classes with the support of specialist tutors and staff who support students to achieve Lancaster University awarded degrees in Blackburn, with a generous financial support package and lower tuition Fees than many universities. Blackburn College’s curriculum is designed to encourage students to fit study around work and other commitments.
Students study in a dedicated University Centre with facilities designed specifically for HE including dedicated libraries and social spaces.
93% of Blackburn College graduates are in work or further study within six months of graduation and the 2018 National Student Survey (NSS) results showed that students recognise the quality of teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support and personal development at Blackburn College.
